Terms of Service
Last updated: August 31, 2026
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of Vozonic (the “Service”), an AI voice and video studio that provides text-to-speech generation, voice cloning, voice design, sound generation, video editing and video hosting. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you agree on its behalf and represent that you have authority to do so.
1. The Service
Vozonic offers two tiers. The free tier runs AI models directly in your browser on your own hardware; content you generate there is not transmitted to our servers unless you choose to save it to your library. Pro quality runs on our servers and is metered per use (characters of speech, generations of sound, seconds of rendered video), with the estimated cost shown before each action. A subscription enables access to Pro features; it does not obligate you to use them.
2. Accounts and organizations
The Service is organized around workspaces (organizations). Content created in a workspace is accessible to its members. You are responsible for the activity that happens under your account, for keeping your credentials secure, and for the people you invite into your workspace.
3. Your content
“Your Content” means everything you upload to the Service (including reference audio, video, images and text) and everything you generate with it (including narrations, cloned and designed voices, sounds, subtitles and rendered videos). You retain all rights you hold in Your Content. So that we can operate the Service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, transmit and display Your Content, solely as needed to provide the Service to you and your workspace. This license ends when Your Content is deleted from the Service, except for transient backups kept for a limited period.
You are solely responsible for Your Content. You represent and warrant that you own it or hold every right, license, consent and permission needed to use it with the Service, and that it does not infringe the intellectual property, privacy, publicity or other rights of any person.
4. Voice cloning and consent
Voice cloning is a powerful feature with real potential for harm, and we hold it to the strictest rule in these Terms: you may only clone a voice that is your own, or whose owner has given you explicit, verifiable consent. Without limiting the foregoing, you must not:
- clone or imitate the voice of any person without their consent, including public figures, celebrities and politicians;
- use a cloned or designed voice to impersonate a person, to deceive listeners about who is speaking, or to present generated speech as a genuine recording;
- use generated speech for fraud, scams, robocalls, harassment, defamation, disinformation, or to bypass voice-based security systems.
We may suspend or remove voices, content or accounts involved in violations of this section without prior notice.
5. AI-generated content
Subject to these Terms and to the rights of third parties, you own the output you generate with the Service to the extent permitted by applicable law. You should know, and you accept, that:
- AI output is statistical in nature. It may be inaccurate, unexpected or offensive, and it may resemble output generated for other users from similar inputs. We do not guarantee that output is unique, correct or fit for any particular purpose.
- The legal status of AI-generated works varies by jurisdiction. You are responsible for how you use the output, including any disclosure obligations that apply to synthetic media in your jurisdiction (for example, labeling AI-generated voices in political advertising).
- Where the Service produces content from your reference material (such as a cloned voice from your sample), your responsibility for the reference material extends to the output made from it.
6. Hosted content and copyright
The Service stores and serves audio and video on your behalf. We respect the intellectual property of others and expect the same from you. Uploading or distributing content that infringes copyright is a violation of these Terms. We respond to infringement notices and may remove content and terminate repeat infringers as described in our Copyright Policy.
7. Acceptable use
Your use of the Service must comply with our Acceptable Use Policy, which is part of these Terms.
8. Billing
Pro usage is billed through our payment processor on a metered basis, with prices shown in the product before each billable action. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change prices with reasonable prior notice; changes never apply retroactively.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service (with reasonable notice where practicable). Upon termination we will, on request and where technically feasible, provide a window to export Your Content before deletion.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that generated content will meet your requirements.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vozonic and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data or goodwill. Our aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim and fifty US dollars. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Indemnity
You will indemnify and hold harmless Vozonic and its operators from claims arising out of Your Content, your use of the Service in violation of these Terms, or your violation of the rights of a third party, including claims relating to voices cloned without consent and to infringing uploads.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. If a change is material we will give notice inside the product or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
14. Contact and governing law
Questions about these Terms: legal@vozonic.com. These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator of Vozonic is established, without regard to conflict of law rules, and disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.
