Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Vozonic (the “Service”) collects, why, and what control you have over it. The short version: the free tier runs on your device and your audio does not leave your machine unless you save it; the Pro tier processes your content on our servers to deliver what you asked for; we do not sell your data.

1. What we collect

Account and workspace data

Authentication is provided by our identity provider (Clerk). We receive your name, email address and workspace membership. Workspaces (organizations) scope everything you create.

Content you create and upload

When you use server-side features or save browser-generated work to your library, we store your content — reference audio for cloning, uploaded video and images, generated narrations, sounds, subtitles, voice profiles and rendered videos — in our storage, scoped to your workspace. On the free tier, generation runs in your browser via WebGPU: your text, reference samples and generated audio stay on your device and reach our servers only if you explicitly save them.

Usage and billing data

Pro usage is metered (characters, generations, seconds). Metering events and subscription state are processed by our billing provider (Polar). Payment card details go directly to the payment processor; we never see them.

Diagnostics

We collect error reports and performance telemetry (via Sentry) to keep the Service working. These may include technical context such as browser version and the action that failed; we do not use them for advertising.

2. What we use it for

• Providing the Service: storing, processing and serving your content to you and your workspace.
• Billing Pro usage and preventing abuse of the free tier.
• Security, debugging and keeping the Service reliable.
• Communicating with you about the Service.

We do not train AI models on your content. Your reference audio, cloned voices and generated media are used to serve your own requests, not as training data. We do not sell personal data and we do not show ads.

3. Voice data

Voice recordings and voice profiles are biometric-adjacent data and we treat them with extra care. Reference samples you upload for cloning are stored in your workspace, are used only to generate speech you request, and are deleted when you delete the voice. Cloning a voice requires the consent of its owner under our Terms of Service; if you believe your voice has been cloned on Vozonic without your consent, contact us at legal@vozonic.com and we will investigate and remove infringing profiles.

4. Who processes your data

We use a small set of processors to run the Service: identity (Clerk), billing (Polar), object storage and delivery (Cloudflare), GPU processing for Pro generation (Modal), and error monitoring (Sentry). Each receives only what its function requires. We do not share your content with anyone else except as required by law.

5. Retention and deletion

Your content stays until you delete it or your workspace is deleted. Deleting a generation, voice, sound or project removes the stored media; residual copies in backups expire on a rolling basis. Deleting your account removes your personal data except records we must keep for legal or accounting reasons.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Most of these are available directly in the product (your content is yours to download or delete); for anything else, write to legal@vozonic.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.

7. Cookies

We use the cookies required for sign-in and session security. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

8. Children

The Service is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect their data.

9. Changes

We will update this policy as the Service evolves and give notice of material changes in the product or by email before they take effect.
