Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: August 31, 2026
This policy sets the boundaries for what may be created, uploaded and distributed with Vozonic. It is part of our Terms of Service. The principle behind every rule here is simple: the Service gives you a powerful voice, and you may not use it to harm, deceive or steal from anyone.
1. Voices and synthetic speech
- Clone only your own voice or a voice whose owner gave you explicit consent. No exceptions for public figures.
- Do not use generated speech to impersonate anyone, to fake authorship of a statement, or to present synthetic audio as a genuine recording.
- No fraud, scam calls, robocalls, phishing, extortion or social engineering with generated audio.
- No use of generated speech to defeat voice authentication or any other security system.
- Where your jurisdiction requires disclosure of synthetic media (for example in political advertising), you are responsible for that disclosure.
2. Uploaded and hosted content
- Upload only content you own or are licensed to use. Copyrighted music, footage, or recordings without permission do not belong on the Service — see our Copyright Policy.
- No content that is illegal where you or we operate, including child sexual abuse material (reported to authorities without exception), terrorist content, or content that violates export or sanctions law.
- No non-consensual intimate imagery and no sexual content involving the likeness or voice of a real person without their consent.
3. Conduct
- No harassment, hate speech, incitement to violence, defamation, or targeted abuse produced or distributed with the Service.
- No disinformation campaigns, coordinated inauthentic behavior, or content designed to deceive about elections or public health.
- No attempts to probe, overload, reverse-engineer or abuse the Service, its models, its metering or other customers’ workspaces.
4. Enforcement
We may remove content, disable voices, suspend workspaces or terminate accounts that violate this policy, with severity proportional to the violation and without prior notice where harm is ongoing. Where the law requires it, we report violations to the competent authorities.
5. Reporting
To report content or a voice that violates this policy, write to legal@vozonic.com with a link or identifier of the content and a description of the violation. Reports of cloned voices by the voice’s owner are prioritized.
