Copyright Policy

Vozonic hosts audio and video that users upload and create. We respect the rights of creators and operate a notice-and-takedown process modeled on the DMCA for content that infringes copyright, and an equivalent process for voices cloned without their owner’s consent.

1. Reporting infringement

If you believe content hosted on Vozonic infringes your copyright (or that a voice on Vozonic was cloned from you without consent), send a notice to legal@vozonic.com including:

  • identification of the work you claim is infringed (or, for a voice, evidence that the voice is yours);
  • the URL or enough information for us to locate the allegedly infringing content on the Service;
  • your name, address and email;
  • a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the rights holder, its agent or the law;
  • a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorized to act for them;
  • your physical or electronic signature.

2. What we do with a valid notice

We remove or disable access to the identified content promptly, notify the user who posted it, and provide them a copy of the notice. Where the report concerns a cloned voice, we also disable the voice profile so no further speech can be generated from it while we investigate.

3. Counter-notice

If your content was removed and you believe the removal was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to legal@vozonic.com including identification of the removed content, a statement under penalty of perjury of your good-faith belief that removal was erroneous, your contact information, consent to the jurisdiction of the competent courts, and your signature. Unless the original claimant informs us within ten business days that they have sought a court order, we may restore the content.

4. Repeat infringers

We track infringement notices and terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe, in appropriate circumstances and at our discretion.

5. Misrepresentation

Knowingly sending a false infringement notice or counter-notice can make you liable for damages. Do not use this process to attack lawful content or competitors.
